ING Miami Marathon
I will be running the Miami Half Marathon this coming Sunday. There is still some space so come on out and go for a run with me. Should be fun.
About 1200. That’s how many miles Robert Allen has run competitively in the last 15 years, not including training, playing team sports, catching the bus, or chasing his son. 30 marathons and multiple ultra-distance marathons - including the Miwok 100, the Western States and Angeles Crest 100 mile runs - have taught him the fundamentals of endurance, safe injury management, and proper nutrition. It is this hard-won knowledge he now shares as a professional running coach.
But you certainly wouldn’t call Rob one-dimensional. In addition to grueling 100-mile runs, he enjoys surfing, soccer, football, tennis, rock climbing, sailing cycling, kite surfing, motorcycle racing, sky diving…and yoga. Because if there’s one thing he’s learned, it’s that you’ve gotta stretch.
